Health and Safety

At Cheshire Stained Glass we pay as much attention to Health and Safety as we do to our work.  We recognise our responsibilities to our staff and the necessity of training in the modern workplace.

As a company we are CHAS (Contractors Health & Safety Scheme) accredited, signifying that our standard practices meet current Health and Safety requirements.

All of our operatives hold CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) cards in the Glass In situ Restoration Category and are Asbestos Awareness trained, enabling us to work on larger sites and on larger projects.

Our operatives are also PASMA and IPAF trained, enabling us to provide and operate our own access.  We use both Aluminium Scaffold Towers and MEWPs (Mobile Elevated Working Platforms) to gain access to our areas of work without the need for fixed scaffolding.

We aim to provide all of the necessary qualifications, accreditations and planning in house so that we can work in both the commercial and domestic markets with minimal disruption to the customer.
