Heaton Hall

In categories: Public Buildings

Sash glazing repairs were undertaken in late summer 2012.  Restoration grade cylinder glass was used to replace over 40 broken panes at the hall.  The panes were glazed on linseed oil putty before being putty pointed.

We provided and erected our own access in the form of an aluminium access tower, negating the requirement for other contractors and a larger scheme to complete the repairs.

Heaton Hall is of neoclassical design and was built in the 18th century.  It is the country house located within Heaton Park, the largest municipal park in Europe and is Grade l listed.
