St. Anne’s Church, Ormskirk

In categories: Ecclesiastical | Stained Glass

The large circular window was commissioned to commemorate St Ambrose Barlow, the Manchester born Benedictine monk executed for his faith.

English antique glass and kiln fired painted artwork were used to create the window.

The chain around his image symbolises his arrest and detention, whilst the bright and vivid surrounding shows his legacy to the church.
