We have created sets for some of the biggest institutions in British television, including the façade and booth partitions in the Rovers Return and the rear screening for a University Challenge set.
Our traditional techniques have also been utilised to produce historic windows for several period dramas.
CORONATION STREET
Façade acid etched & brilliant cut panels along with internal leaded light booth divides.
These traditional techniques were used to great effect in the design, manufacture and installation of panels in the country’s favourite pub. Our designs still feature in the set as filmed today.
COLD FEET
Sets were designed for the hit British comedy – drama from 1998-2003. They replicated domestic designs from the South Manchester area. Featuring leaded-lights and acid etching.
UNIVERSITY CHALLENGE
The 1990s set was designed and produced using acid etching and deep sand blasting on 12.4mm laminated safety glass. Different acid tones were used on the eight panels, each measuring 2.2 x 1.1 metres.
SHERLOCK HOLMES
Period leaded lights and glazing were produced & installed for the original Sherlock Holmes Television adaptations between 1984 & 1994. Client: Granada Television.
